Café Rosen is a quaint café in the center of Stockholm. Our goal is to offer a place
to relax, eat and drink a nice cup of coffee. We offer hearty food prepared with the
freshest ingredients; Cakes, tarts, pies and pastries all done by local bakers. It is
located in the Old Town (Gamla Stan) district of the city in a building called The
Wichman House “Wichmanska huset” built in the 1480s. Our café is a Swedish
owned family business that has been with us for generations. We pride ourselves
in giving our customers a real Swedish café experience with a modern twist.
The Wichman House is one example of the old medieval brick houses in
Stockholms Old Town. The old walls of the main part of the building rise from
street level and include the third floor. Our café which is situated on the ground
floor has been used for other purposes in the past such as a shop, storage, tavern
and was once a humble stable.
Today we are able to offer you coffee cakes, delicious pies and much more at this
